Darcy is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ewing Morris & Co. Investment Partners, where he oversees the firm’s focus on high-yield credit, small and mid-cap equities, shareholder activism, and niche real estate—sectors often overlooked by larger firms.

Before founding Ewing Morris, Darcy started his finance journey at 15, spending summers on the bond trading floor at Cantor Fitzgerald. This early experience helped shape his strategic decision-making and risk management skills. Transitioning from a successful semi-professional hockey career, Darcy brought his competitive spirit to the financial sector.  Prior to Ewing Morris, Darcy gained experience as an Associate at Burgundy Asset Management and Portfolio Manager at MacDougall, MacDougall, MacTier.  His deep experience has established Ewing Morris as a trusted name in the investment community.

Darcy also holds leadership roles outside Ewing Morris. He serves on the board of directors at Caldwell Partners (TSX: CWL) and Quisitive (TSX: QUIS), and has previously been on the boards of Cedar Realty (NYSE: CDR) and ZCL Composites (TSX: ZCL). His role on the selection committee for Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 underscores his dedication to recognizing emerging leaders.

In the community, Darcy has been Treasurer of the Toronto Public Library Foundation and Chair of the Art Gallery of Ontario Foundation, showcasing his passion for arts and culture. As a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and an experienced public company board member, Darcy is a respected voice in Canadian business.

Darcy lives in Toronto with his partner Shelly and their blended family of five children: Marty, Wynn, Adrian, Julian, and Audrey. When he’s not working, Darcy enjoys offshore fishing on his boat, the Wild Cat and coaching his children’s basketball team.
